Harmon Kaslow Interview for Atlas 2

I think this is a fantastic interview. It says that not everyone will like the film. People who are productive, and free loving of course will. People who aren't won't. That is a wonderful way to put it. It makes AS2 into a kind of forbidden fruit that only wise, hard working people will enjoy. It captures the high ground. Who wants to admit that they are a slug by coming out against the film? Nice job! It has just the right amount of attitude without being smug or over-the-top. It certainly reflects why I love Atlas Shrugged so much.

I understand many of you wanting to vote for the best possible candidate. However by doing so you will most certainly give Obama a second term. Now is not the time to make a statement. Now is the time to protect what is left of liberty. Stop the onslaught then turn the tide next time around!

    (Just a thought)

Not just thumbs up, but five stars.

However, a vote for Romney, while perhaps tactically correct, is a strategic mistake. I'm voting for Gary Johnson 2012, and looking for a strong Libertarian third party contender (hopefully Johnson) in 2016.

If Obama gets voted in again there probably won't be a 2016 election. (Do New World Orders have elections?) My strategy is to get him the hell outta there so we can then work on an electable 3rd party candidate.

        I agree with LetsShrug.

It will be much easier to form a 3rd party in a country where TeaParty/Randians/Constitutionalists are not persecuted to the point which they will be under a second Obamarx term.

What's more, if the GOP believes that a vote against Obamarx is a vote FOR them, boy, oh boy, ain't they gonna be surprised.

I agree with both you and LetsShrug. I can only act in the context I exist in. The Democrats represent a greater threat, thus I vote for the better choice--the less threatening candidate.

I have no problem with a two party system, I just think the choices should be Republican or Libertarian instead of Republican and Democrat.

I have no problem with a two party system either.

However, if the GOP old guard refuses to let the new guard have its day, then they will force a party split and quickly find themselves the minority 3rd party.

Definately correct....and we need to send those GOP traitors a personal message that we voted against BHO, and not for them.....and they should get their servants to get the mansion on Lake Lucerne ready.

That is my opinion also. Get Obama out, and then work on the rest in 2014 elections. We can adjust the congress at that time, then in 2016 we have some new Presidential candidates. You can't fix this mess we are in, in one election.

Voting for Romney strengthens the two-party system. One of my objectives is to weaken it. Cf. Gary Johnson's interview on Infowars Nightly News, where he breaks down what's at stake as far as building a viable third party challenge: http://archive.org/details/infowars-nigh...

Program note: Johnson interview begins at c. 25 mins.

Buuuuuuut, letting Obama stay will weaken the country to the point of no return which will lessen the chances of accomplishing our goal.

I don't just want Obama out of office, but I want his whole party wiped out. The best way to end the two party system is to get people to stop behaving in a collective manner, such as republicans and democrats, or men and women voting blocs. If people voted as individuals, the rhetoric of the two party machine wouldn't work.

I want both parties to be a distant memory. But just like we need to focus on getting the word out and helping Part II to be a success. We need to be just as dilligent in getting Obama out.

Oddly enough, I want a strong showing for both Johnson and Romney, which is possible *if* the deafening defeatism the likes of Limbaugh have been spewing lately does not take hold.
