In the book Rearden Metal is blue/green. The movie version is technically incorrect for both color and design, but understandably so. I kind of like the railroad track looking one, but it seems a little cumbersome.

I love all the designs of this bracelet, obtained from reading about it; but I want one that people will see and know what it means. That is why I bought the movie version; the crooked railroad ties. When people see it, they either know what it is, or they ask.

I always saw it as a chunky blue-green chain; when I attended a party dressed as Dagny, 100 years ago, my husband made me a bracelet by painting stainless steel with glass paint. It was FINE. But I like the idea of using something so recognizable - there's no doubt about what you're seeing.

Thought the braclett was rather chunky. Hey we want it to be noticed. Perhaps the RMB will be the symbol of the objectivist lady.

Not dissing on the design I actually like the bracelet. From the book though I always imagined a coarse chain, one you tow cars with, it just seemed more reardon esque

I got one of these for my wife when they came out. She loves it.
And it certainly can be a conversation starter for sure!

I am so into this; I am actually watching part one, as I blog. They are partying after the bullet train flew over the new Rearden Metal bridge, right now.

It is fun to be in the underground and have people who understand. I know, I do love being a rebel.

I think I will get a john galt bumper sticker; it is better than a political bumper sticker, which I am afraid to put on my car ; it says much more.

I almost did, but people were waiting in line. I am sure it was one, now that I ordered it and saw the picture. I will look for her again; I always shop there.

Its a special moment when you bump into someone else who appreciates real value. Its nice that we are seeing it more and more often these days. That is a very good sign.

If I were ever lucky to run across something like that I don't know what i'd do. I know everytime I see someone with a "who is john galt?" bumber sticker I practically run everyone off the road so I can see who is driving the car. Sadly I don't get to see many....
