This article makes some good points, but the one it fails to make is that the problem we are facing is a failure of philosophy. The authors view seems to allow for equal validity for any philosophy or maybe just a complete lack of knowledge of the role that philosophy in STEM. She seems to think studying the humanities creates some mental voodoo that just makes everything work. Philosophy is required, but it must be the right philosophy.
