These things can't imagine a day where they run out of other people's money.

Maybe they can imagine a remote island populated by a small number individuals, all with free health care. A happy utopia where no one ever again has to pay or barter for the health care they want, and no one ever again has to be compelled provide all these services to others.
I can't. Unless everyone is dead.

If all humans are endowed with equal rights, no human has the superior right to reap any part of what someone else has sown without his/her consent. Taxes that do not involve the full consent of all individuals being taxed, are contrary to the equally endowed rights granted by the Creator and recognized by our Founding Fathers.

A while back a Polish economist friend of mine
said in a letter that 'in Poland people thought
freedom meant getting things for free". It pained me
to have to reply to him that it's the same in
    America.

That's good, too. I'll have to remember that.

Whenever I got to my doctor and they ask for a "copay" I always say, "Wait. Obamacare just passed. This is all free now, right?" They seem to really enjoy that.

That's right. I do not think "freedom" to them is real "freedom."

When they say "freedom" they mean "from want."

    We mean "freedom from coercion."

For a minute there I interpreted that to mean that you weren't thinking... ;)

Like the poster, btw. I'm sure we could add a plethora of talking heads to it that all demonstrate various aspects of the culture of "not thinking".

we know they do not think. they like to hear themselves and the main stream media like to publish the non-thinking element of society.

I agree. "I think" requires responsibility. Responsibility requires action to make value. Action demands creativity. Creativity requires Thought. Therefore, "I think".

In other words, freedom from consequence. But that is not freedom. That is evasion. They want to evade the consequences of their choices, and they demand that others assist with this.

Yes, you have to go back to the 30's when FDR promulgated his 'Bill of Rights'. #3 was freedom from want and #4 was freedom from fear.

    It's only gotten worse since.
