Are you so sure? I see many former enslaved people who seem very comfortable placing the bonds of government enslavement on themselves.

my family left Russia at the turn of the 20th century so I am optimistic that they are smart. as for welcoming being a part of Russia, I think not. once a slave is free they do not chose to return to slavery.

Most of them in Crimea are either actual Russian or of Russian ancestry. Not sure whether that makes them smart or dumb, but they will likely welcome being part of Russia (again).

I guess O-Bomb-Ya! has not figured out that Russia is not Pakistan.

How'd you like to be one of those pilots, stuck with an asshole-in-chief ordering you to do something stupid, reckless, dangerous and purely symbolic?

I wonder if they (the Air Force) is there to serve as a Casus Belli (Reason for War). It is an old trick used by military strategists to get the enemy to start the war so they could finish it.
My question is: Is that what they're for or does Obama and Hagel really think 6 more F-15 aircraft and a tanker will deter the Russians from doing anything?
