I placed this in a comment section elsewhere, but thought it might be enjoyed more as its own topic. Many people are thinking these days about creating their own Galt's Gulch. We're not the only ones.

I love rich people! I do not envy them. I aspire to become one! Is that not the American dream? Is it not the promise of America to be the land of opportunity, to make the most of your life? That anyone no matter how meager their beginnings can be successful? They say money is the root of all evil, but envy is the real evil. If you wish to be successful and lift the weight of envy from your shoulders surround yourself with successful people and emulate them.

In short it's a mix of Smokey and the Bandit with Ayn Rand if that tells you anything. The police using ticket citations to pay for a Governor's presidential race pulls over the wrong guy, who refuses to submit to a law that is unjust, and all hell breaks loose in the greatest car chase to ever hit America. It's a modern twist on many of the themes Ayn Rand explored. I didn't plan that. I didn't bump into Rand until I started trying to help Atlas Shrugged Part 1 when it was coming out because somebody told me it made a case in favor of capitalism. So I thought I should read the books. Needless to say, I am very happy to have discovered that the things I was interested in writing about were done decades ago. So my contribution is a modern take on the classic defense of freedom and its real meaning to the human soul.
