I like her b/c she's like bizarre kryptonite to rightwingers, but the older I get the stupider I find the whole left/right wrestling match. I would rather have a candidate who does not make rightwingers wig out and who wants to do reform-minded things like eliminate the deficit, reduce the influence of money in politics, restrict presidential powers, limit gov't powers in general.

I didn't expect the moon from Obama, as some people did, but I expected him at least not to expand exec branch powers further. I was disappointed too that during the financial crisis, which started just before he was elected, he sold more fear than hope. I wanted more hope.

If we must have a bogus left-right battle, Hillary Clinton is a great choice b/c she's smart and she makes the other side make fools of themselves. That's bad for America, so Hillary is not my first choice.

Just what we need, another affirmative action candidate. Obama wouldn't have got elected if he were white, and Hillary wouldn't stand a prayer if she were a man. Electing a president has to be more than an exercise in quota filling.
