More insantity coming to doctors courtesy of the ACA

How much time is this going to add to the administrative portion of patient care? Can you imagine trying to find the correct code for a specific patient issue among 155,000 of them?

Think about how many high level administrators and doctors will actually train to the codes-making what should be a low skill job suddenly the weak link in a practice or hospital. If you mistakenly miscode-you either do not receive payment or are flagged for fraud. Purely for control reasons not for communication needs. Evil, really| Permalink
