Russia warns could 'reduce to zero' economic dependency on US

I thought Obama and Kerry said stupid stuff. Russia may want to re-think this one.

I think that the long range goal is to go off the dollar and Obama would just let it happen.| Permalink
- 2Posted by lostsierra 12 years, 2 months agoThey can pull the rug out from under the dollar at their leisure. They sell oil, nat gas to Europe. All they have to do is demand gold or rubles, or yuan or Euros. Can be coordinated with China, India, Iran, Arabia, others, too. This has been coming for some time. Russia buys their own gold production from mines. Our buck is a debt-based, fiat scrap. Our gold is gone in the lease market to suppress gold market. Gone to China. Russia holds all the aces. Us - well, our account is stamped "Over Drawn."| Permalink

I think I heard today that Russia is already threatening to dump it's $137(?) billion in Treasuries.| Permalink
