First, the title does not reflect the content of the article. Rush didn't pan Ben. He said he wasn't prepared to be president at this time, and then said he was much better than any democrat, and that he is a great person. While I agree with Rush on Carson's ability to be POTUS today, the title is misleading. imo, none of the candidates of either wing of the statist party are prepared to be president, but Paul is best prepared because he is least likely to misuse the power of the office, most of which exceeds powers granted the president by the constitution.

Second, Rush claimed to be an expert on many things. Rubbish. Rush is an entertainer who runs his mouth f o r e v e r. That is the sum total of his expertise.
For example, Rush defends Syrian refugees by saying:
"Look, I have friends who are Syrians. I play golf with them. "
For Galt's Sake! Rush's Syrian golf buddies bear no resemblance to the Syrian refugees.

    Rush, you are an idiot!
    S H U T .. U P!

Last, whoever downpointed johnpe on this, don't kill the messenger ;^)

I agree that Paul is best prepared. For me, at this point, he's the only one.

I agree. I think politician attracts popular people who make friends and tell them what they want to hear. That's not horrible. It's not horrible that we elect people that want to please us, but it's far from great.

It's much, much better to have someone who starts with principle, not with a natural goal to be popular. Paul does not appear just to what to please people. He seems like the type who would say "you think you want XYZ, but you need to amend the Constitution if you want gov't to do that," instead of just trying to do what people want. He is the only one who I think operates that way.
