I believe this guy is the wave maker; expect more to follow his lead or simply fold up completely. Just my opinion.

There was a doctor in Denver who did not take any form of insurance and charged $1 per minute of her time. The newspaper article that I read said that she was doing well, and I've heard nothing since.

My favorite doctor, a true healer, said that if Obama were elected, he'd quit practicing medicine - and did. This was really a loss to his patients - and him, too. I'm not sure what he's doing now, might be interesting to find out.

whoa.. I never really thought about that one. I had a case bounce off the bay separator through the safety glass gap and leave a nice burn on my eyelid. I cannot imagine how that would have been coded.. There was a less woundy but way more scary incident where the round hit the steel target holder ( the pulley carriage thing on top ) and the copper sheath bounced back and hit me in the forehead..

Why can't Doc's and Hospitals set up some system comparable to a gym membership. I heard of one Doc in NY I think that did this. People pay the Doc's and/or Hospitals a monthly "membership fee" for their services. Cut out the middle man (insurance co) and their percentage.

In Costa Rica the doctors offices are all lined up down the street and they run specials, like any other business. That's competition and it brings prices in the open and down in direction for affordability.

there may well be, and if you accidentally picked it without the 1911 involved, you've committed Medicare fraud. Do not pass go. straight to jail

I admire his courage. His rates seem fair enough. Can't wait for more doctors to follow.

Probably. There's a code for everything else. I'm sure there's also a code for my 'none of your damn business' answer to questions too.

I agree with you. He can practice medicine as he needs too, not as a bureaucrat dictates. I just heard today that with obummercare there is coding for if you're bit by a turtle, if you walk into a post, and if you walk into the post a 2nd time it's a different code.
