Completely agree. Unfortunately, the mob that wanted to set the Constitution aside to go after the rich 80 years ago got their way -- giving us a century of bogus Supreme Court precedents that need to be overturned to get our Constitutional form of government back.

This is what is being taught in our schools! The basic tenets of freedom must now become subserviant to the dictates of power; the free expression of ideas and debate are lost on these people who do not wish to be challenged and made to think out a rational position. There will be a country of sheep without a shepherd when these people come to power.

It's easier to respect the rights the minority in good times. When something really bothers people, some people say, "but this is s a special case. Ordinarily I'd follow the Constitution, but not in this extraordinary case." I'm saying the Constitution was written for the extraordinary cases when people are tempted not to follow it.

Mostly true. Both of my children are products of the public schools here in Arizona. Both of my children will, in time, be social outcasts because of their ability to actually think and smell a liberal agenda. I suspect many parents aren't of my ilk which is why those useful idiots are so numerous.

OK, I'm a white male, which is a minority now days. Does that mean the gov should ban speech that offends me? For example yesterday afternoon I channel hopped onto a scene that was a humorous video of two young white guys from England doing a skit on a long greeting "ritual". It turned out to be a funny video show where a panel gets to vote on the funniest video. There were three people on this particular panel, black male, what seemed to be a white female, and a white male. The black male was asked to comment on the video and vote accordingly. His comment was "what's to say about two stupid white guys that don't know what they are doing". The laugh track was turned up and everybody seemed to think it was a funny and insightful assessment. I wondered what the reaction would have been if the video was produced by two young black guys and the white male panelist quipped "what would you expect from a couple of stupid black guys that don't know what they are doing". In these PC times, I guess slapping white guys around is just plain hilarious.

Perhaps we should ban minorities that offend our right to Free Speech...

AND...who determines what's offensive?
My grandkids are so-called Millennials. They are not that stupid. I concede that people under 25 have some learning to do since their brains are still not fully formed, but this is utterly over the line, now that I think about it, from stupid to psychotic.

This is precisely the problem with this country with people giving up their right to disagree with one another or even to exercise their hard earned, 1st Amendment rights! The young have become brainwashed within an inch of their lives by idiots spouting this brainless, moronic, Feelgood" political correctness drivel! Perhaps it is time that folks (not only the young and impressionable but also the old and foolish) wake up and start protecting those freedoms that really matter. Hurt feelings (especially when "unvarnished" Truths are being shared) do not count for anything of substance!

I recently re read "Anthem". It is truly disturbing how politically correct speech and thought lead civilization in that direction.

Too bad. They are dead wrong. This will not fly.

But when certain minorities put out statements offensive to minorities not on the approved list, it is ok!

The Constitution was written for those times when >50% (>>40%) want to go after unpopular speech, guns, religious/ethnic groups, etc.
