A thread of this started to state that pro-choice would be Ayn Rands positoin. I disagree.

Pro-choice has aspects to it she would not support, nor do I. She would never support forcing a doctor to perform an abortion any more than she would support a woman being forced to not get one.

pro-choice carries with it the idea that if Abortion is legal then all doctors must be do them. Which is anything but choice.

True pro choice on this would be that the government has no right to regulate who can get an abortion or who would provide the service. That she would support.

This one totally depends upon when you define life as beginning. If life begins at conception then abortion is murder, if life begins at first breath then its not.

The problem is there is no way to scientifically argue one or the other, it becomes a matter of individual views and beliefs. So how can a government attempt to govern such a thing?

Let doctors choose if they are willing to do them or not, and let women choose if they want to get one or not.

Like most things the government needs to just get out of telling people how they can and cannot behave. Its a subject of individual choice, and from a political or philosophical context that is all it is.
