If the minimum wage is increased I think many people will decrease or eliminate tips. that means the lower income earners will get more taxable income and less income they can hide. Not a good trade.

If waiters/waitresses get $10.10 an hour what the heck is the need for the tip ! No tip.

If they servers get paid min wage, yes, I no more tip. I don't get a tip for doing my job.
I find tip jar at Subway and the like disgusting. You made my sandwich properly, as you were paid to do, I should reward you further??
More people will start eating at home.

Agreed. I don't think these folks have thought this thru. Fewer job opportunities, more taxable income and less tips. Just seems dumb.

If the minimum wage rises and waitresses and waiters are included, then I will not be tipping as much or at all.
I tip well now but the increase in the cost of the dinner etc. would really reduce my inclination to give a tip.
I fully realize that this increase is not the fault of the server, but they are now getting more pay without having to provide service.

This is just another cog in the class warfare and redistribution of wealth plan. $15/hr for an entry level whopper flopper is inane.
