Real simple question.

Does Barack Obama have the right to shape society?

Does Congress?

Does Hollywood?

Does John Galt?

Who is Jerome Morrow?

Not really. I'll occasionally comment on a Youtube video, that's about it.

Sorry I missed you on IRC. I forgot to log out when I had to go to work :(

    Gattaca was a great movie.
How we live, what we say, what we do and don't do, all create an impression on those around us. It may even shape their behavior. There is a difference between living your life unapologetic in its moral impact on others and deliberately acting in a manner to shape society. In the first, the focus is on self, and the impact to others is a byproduct. In the second, the impact to others is the entire point, and there is no focus on self at all.
