I could never vote for Nader. I'll admit that a younger and more naïve me did vote for Ross Perot, thus ushering in the era of Clinton. But I'm not so sure that that was all that much a bad thing. Bush was no Reagan, and the big corporations were using him. At least Clinton, after losing big to the R's, had the sense to pivot and acquiesce to some rational fiscal policy. I still believe that Perot would have been better for the nation financially.
