I spoke with another contestant in the ASP2 Earning Contest who was as baffled as I as to the missing 24 September winners announcement (see http://blog.atlasshruggedmovie.com/2012/... ). This contestant pointed out that the fine print said the contest might be ended at any time at the discretion of "the Producer." Hey, that's cool.

Do you know what isn't cool? Punishing those who do have the guts to enter a contest that doesn't quite get off the ground, by yanking it out from under them.

Take your phony "contest" on a flyin' fuggat the moon.

    It was a fun red carpet event with lots of well dressed people and lots of food and drinks. Many of the actors in the film were there. After an hour we entered the theater and listened to a moving speech about the movie, about Ayn Rand and about a dedication to make a difference. Then the world premier of the Atlas Shrugged Part 2 movie started.

    By the way, which part of the "Earning Contest" did you win?
    Fortunately, at least one of the parts of the "Earning Contest" has a verifiable trail. I have located all entrants in the promotion video part of the Earning Contest, and you're not one of them.

    They have a habit of missing dates, don't they? Aglialoro barely squeaked by with the movie rights from Peikoff, who sold out Rand for a cool million -- aww, they got a nearly missed on that one; April 2012 Part II release date missed - check; April 2013 Part III release date to be missed - check. Amateur Hour at ASP just keeps on ticking.

    They definitely missed this date. Maybe the Atlas Shrugged Movie staff has been very busy. Maybe it was hard to contact some of the winners or get them to sign and send back the typical liability release forms. Maybe all winners need to be verified before they can officially release the winners.
    I am also curious who are the other winners of the contest. I guess I may have to wait until Oct 2 when the world premier event happens in Washington DC. I will be going, all expenses paid, since I am one of the winners. For me, it is not a “phony contest."

    I will contact each and every contestant to verify that they too have no evidence of a winners announcement and no contact from the "contest" purveyors.
