What makes John Galt and America Great

The concept of John Galt is a lot like my concept of America. To me, America is not so much a place or its people, as it is a concept, the concept that freedom and liberty make ordinary people and their homes exceptional. It’s what has made America the greatest place in human history. Economic and social freedoms allow people to reach their full potential. Another way of putting it is that people have intrinsic power and value, and with basic freedoms, they can achieve greatness. John Galt is such a person in that he has the intelligence and intellect to be the greatest inventor and producer of all times. But John Galt also recognizes that such success and greatness can and will be used to demonize such a person.
If you think millionaires and billionaires are demonized, how would the first trillionaire be treated?
John Galt is in essence the World’s first Trillionaire!

I'm with you. JG embodies many concepts. Ingenuity, trade, integrity, and loyalty being some of the principal concepts.

Well put. That's exactly the idea I was attempting to express. The closest national leader that approached this Rand ideal in recent times was Ronald Reagan. I loved and was inspired by what he said and stood for. I was extremely disappointed when he only got half of what Tip O'Neal promised. We got tax cuts, but the spending cuts never occurred and government continued to grow.

PS: John Galt expressed many concepts in his radio speech.

But these concepts do not "bring the best of people to the fore."

In most cases it brings out the worst in them.

Just look at what the Ayn Rand haters have to say about any concept which glorifies individual accomplishment.
