A good start. Now I'd like to hear how he plans to reduce the debt.

Then he better unveil his plan to greatly reduce taxes and regulations. Otherwise, this is just more bull scat.

Carlson condemns his critics who say "you either raise the debt ceiling or we default and the world falls apart."
This is like saying either we take out er loan or default on our existing ones. That's a false choice. We could not take out a new loan and pay the existing ones as agreed. I think agree with Carlson on this.

At this point the only thing any candidate can do is speak his or her mind. Unlike the majority of the rest of the R candidates I think Carson is the most sincere alongside Cruz. I agree with the written promise to resign if he fails to do something significant that he promised within the first 12 months of his presidency; I also suspect if he promised to do so he actually would.

Say something meaningful and promise to resign if you don't do it. Stop wasting our time with insignificant distracting BS.

"I will close down the IRS and end the income tax as president."
"I will close down the federal reserve bank system and remove the ability to create legal tender from the hands of Wall Street banksters."
