Alabama Driver’s License Offices Shutdown Poses Quandary for Liberals

One has to wonder at what point does facts need to be required before babble? I could not find any references to just why the drivers license offices are closed, but maybe they have a budget problem? Yet everytime something happens even if done to try to address an issue, the special interests and " I want" crowds jump in. This asks some good questions, and maybe Hillary Beasts people should have looked into before her current bellowing of "Racism". Maybe they just don't have the money? And can't squeeze anymore from the rock?

    If its a budget problem, I'd definitely close the license offices before I'd close the libraries.
    I'd lay off all the "state police" even sooner, in the interest of justice to drivers.
    But, then I would have a different requirement for voting, too.

      Well, the second site I added actually was the logic of the State Police, who run the DMV. They did lay off all the troopers they could, and that was the reason they had to do the offices. As with all budget cuts in government, I am sure they do the ones who will cause the most pain to the citizens, rather than the most efficient ones that minimize impact, since their vested interest lies in inflicting the most pain on citizens so they will complain and pay more taxes.

    If you can only have to afford "X" number of offices, you have to distribute them geographically by population density, so that the distance that the most number of people have to travel is minimized. What other fair way is there? That's the way a business would have to do it.

    When you start considering "race" or "politics", you will get an inefficient distribution. The misuse of resources is a big problem in government today, and this kind of "sensitivity" to individual groups is often the cause.

      i think they were trying to close the least used offices, but it is symptomatic of how gov't handles all the times the peasants do not contribute enough: make it so hard they give in and give you more money. My objection is people like HillaryBeast making it into "racist evil" just because anywhere you go in Alabama you just will impact black people. Not racist, just reality. More lies from the Beast.
