Ann Coulter thinks so. She did not write "boil the frog," though. Like the proverbial boiled frog, I did not know the heat was being turned up for that long where immigration is concerned.

If several pro-immigration websites can be believed, the above needs clarification. If you count first generation Mexicans (e.g. babies and anchor babies) along with Mexican immigrants (legal and illegal) – the first being about two thirds of the total – you get about a quarter of the population of Mexico.
Whatever, the point is it’s a lot of additional Democrats. (Both zero and first generation Hispanics tend to vote Democrat.)
