Actual reality and facts are irrelevant to the pursuit of a liberal agenda....

Especially when the talking point can serve as a wedge issue during an election cycle.

    Hello Mr. DeSapio,
Strange how the progressives are always demonizing the business owners for not compensating their employees properly... and that those same greedy business owners don't just hire women exclusively to take full advantage...
    A is not A... contradictions perhaps? :)
    Respectfully,
    O.A.

Interesting data. The bill also ignores cultural lessons that can be deeply ingrained. For example women often ask for less than men. That isn't the business owners' fault. They just want a profitable business.

But I do not think everything is truly equal for women. At this point it takes the form of a lot of implications that usually favor men. For example, men get more respect when expressing technical opinions or fixing houses. These implications can harm men as well. The classic is stating that men don't cry. It goes both ways and it doesn't happen everywhere. Other factors come into play like understanding each gender from a physiological point of view. It's complicated...

Cultural lessons take a while to break but using force to advance the time table won't help. I just hope it doesn't do too much harm.
