An Open Letter to the Men and Women of the Connecticut State Police: You are NOT the enemy (UNLESS YOU CHOOSE TO BE.)

"An unconstitutional law is void." It has no effect. So says American Jurisprudence, the standard legal text. And that's been upheld by centuries of American law. An unconstitutional law is VOID. Now that is certainly true. But the tricky part is how do we make that point when the local, state and federal executive and legislative branches as well as the courts are in the hands of the domestic enemies of the Constitution. Everyone who is currently trying to take away your right to arms starts out by saying "I support the 2nd Amendment." Let me tell you a home truth that we know down in Alabama -- Barack Obama supports the 2nd Amendment just about as much as Adolf Hitler appreciated Jewish culture, or Joseph Stalin believed in individual liberty. Believe what politicians do, not what they say. Because the lie is the attendant of every evil. . .

    I think I understand what you are saying rozar. I wish you well. I think here may be blood shed on account of this law if the politicians don't back down. Since they are cowards I think they will back off. But if they don't I'd be ready for war. Having been there, I doubt many will like the outcome.

    correction. I mixed it up with RI. It ranks 16 in the nation so not quite in the top 30% of states

    We need to watch this very, very closely. Decide in advance to on the correct side or to be on the side of "authority". I certainly hope that the law enforcement in CT tells their bosses, "No Way, NO Frickeng WAY!!! Going out to take these otherwise innocent men in would be a blood bath, and I'm not too certain who would be bleeding more. The CSP practice a lot, but a lot of these resistors are ex-military, some Rangers and other elite and well trained with combat experience under their belts.

    Fan-friggin-tastic!!!! Men like him ARE the tip of Liberty's spear. A man of clear vision and a stiff spine. Never under-estimate the power of NO, of civil disobedience, of non-compliance. Hurray for him.
