If saving this little fish is so important, wouldn't it be better to start a few fish farms.... place some screens on the inlet pipes...? Perhaps the farmers could set up small fish ponds, harvest the excess and use them for fertilizer while maintaining a viable seed population... Of course this isn't about the fish, it is about control.

Correctamundo, OA. They don't really want to solve the problem. They merely want to control how the land/ponds are used and who uses them and for what.

I am really starting to believe some want to start a revolution. Hungry people are not happy. When food becomes too expensive and people can't afford to feed themselves won't we become an endangered species?

The idea is to cause a revolt to be able to implement martial law and put the socialist solution in place since "democracy didn't work." This method is known as the Hegelian Dialectic. The explanation of it is here: http://www.infowars.com/the-hegelian-dia...

            Hello Gonzo309,
A classic example of the application. I am familiar with the Hegelian Dialectic. Synthesis-Antithesis-Synthesis... Pure nonsense designed to convince the simple minded who do not question the underlying premises... Good article.

Thanks Gonzo, I had missed that over there. I plan to study the philosophy of it some more but it seems solid. Why not post it in the philosophy category?

I see it as a political maneuver and manipulation instead of a philosophy but I guess that is for the reader to determine. I'm just putting it out there to inform and educate folks. BTW, I also see false flag attacks such as 911, Oklahoma City bombings, Gulf of Tonkin, etc. as manipulation, not philosophy.

      Screens have been installed.

And, I think others here are on to something. There seems to be a desire to have agriculture fail, lakes dry up, etc. I think that probably all falls under Agenda 21 - just really make things hard on people. Many of us who fish around here often talk of the horrible watershed management practices we've observed over the past 20 years. It has been horrible! Nobody could be as stupid as what we've seen. There has to be some sort of agenda behind it...

        Hello Abaco,
Very interesting. If there are screens, are they fine enough to prevent the fish from being pulled in? If so, something smells even fishier... Yes, the agenda... Like Gonzo has eluded, every event seems to be used for some ulterior motive. When you combine these "false flag" events with the massive ammo purchases by questionable government agencies...

I live in the middle of all the stuff he's talking about and I have worked in the water industry, here and elsewhere. This guy is mishmashing the issues a little. The draught is caused by the Reclamation draining the reservoirs in the watershed every summer on the assumption that we'll have a wet winter (I assume that's the reasoning). I've watched them drain the watershed year after year then scratch their heads over why the salmon had weak runs. The grinding of delta smelt in the pumps occurs mainly in the Byron pumping station where the California Aqueduct leaves the delta for L.A. The fish grinding has been a problem for a long time and I know that "fish screens" were installed at the inlets years ago with some success.

Agenda 21, I believe, is alive and well. There is certainly interest from the left in simply getting rid of people, in large regions and in general. The goal of the environmentalist is the extinction of man.
