A good explanation of what the FED can and can't do. I would abolish the FED in a perfect world but at the very least they need change their focus.

    Good article with a very good explanation about why we don't need the Fed. I do have to admit that calling it the Federal Reserve was a brilliant marketing strategy.

    I guess the question really is how much damage can she do? I thought Bernanke was a disaster and she just wants to continue his policies.

    Janet Yellen's problem is that she might as well be Ben Bernanke in drag. Nothing will change under her tenure, let alone be reformed or eliminated. Let's face it, if Alan Greenspan couldn't control the pickpocket that is the Federal Reserve, no one can. Yellan and her ilk don't even want to.
