Two diametrically opposed belief systems. They either uphold their oath of citizenship or they uphold their religious beliefs? The first gives them the freedom to have the second. The second gives them no freedom at all. Neither did that of the Puritans when they first arrived. From which came Rhode Island.

  I find it amusing that America celebrates the pilgrims considering they were isolationists who wanted nothing to so with a country and only to be left alone in their religion.
