I was very wary of going to see another remake of a classic movie, but after seeing the new RoboCop film I was pleasantly surprised. Unlike the original, which is sort of anti-capitalist. The new movie is very much liberty minded, and bashes the mainstream media!

    Having watched the trailer.
    It *still* has an evil corporation; it should be the government pushing to put robots on the streets, and the corporation being forced to comply (kinda like Hank Rearden and his metal).

    Still, where I didn't want to see it before, it might be okay after all...

      The head of the corporation was evil...And he was bribing Congress to scrap it's anti drone law. You've got a good point though. That would have been better.

    Cool.... No Verhoven, is why, I'll bet.

    I wasn't going to see it because I liked Peter Weller and because they didn't take his arm in this one, plus it doesn't seem like they had him die to become Robocop.
