    I live in a state with no sales tax. How is it 'fair' to me to pay sales tax in a state I don't live in unless I'm physically in that state?

    Fairness = run screaming the other way because the political class is sticking their hand in your pocket and striping you of freedoms.

    Yes, the House would have to pass it. My thought on this subject is that sales tax, if any, should be levied in the state in which goods are sold, not where the purchaser happens to live. For example, if I travel to Florida and buy a T-shirt, I have to pay Florida sales tax even though I live in a state with a lower sales tax. If my plan encourages companies to locate in states with little or no sales tax, isn't that a good thing?
