That would be great, if it is done well and if it keeps in character, objectives and everything from the book.

I do hope that the essence of the TV series would be showing how the country could recover from where its going. How Venezuela could recover from its plight, etc. People will only watch if it resonates somehow with their experiences. AS3 was essentially useless in that regard. AS1 was ok, and AS2 was not very good at that.

I had long thought that "Atlas Shrugged" would be
better as a mini-series than a movie. It seems that
Ayn Rand also thought so, because in her last
public speech she said she was writing a 9-hour
teleplay of it. (Unfortunately, she died too soon to get the job done).

I should think it would be better than the re-
cent movie, albeit it was in 3 parts. it could
follow the book more closely. It shouldn't be
too hard to do; Ayn Rand already did most of
the work. Some of the details in scenes read
like instructions to a cameraman.(But then, the
author had also been a screenwriter). A lot of
the script could be written by doing straight copy.--But even if they do make it, I doubt that
I'll get to see it; the networks' going digital ruined
my TV reception, and I was not about to call that
number on the screen about the box, as I was
almost sure the box would be a piece of Com-
    munist crap.

I like the idea. It's still a limited audience due to the literacy problem if nothing else. On the other hand are they really the target audience?

Yes, Producer membership has its perks.

If you don't know what a Producer is, go here:
    http://www.galtsgulchonline.com/faq#f...

Please keep in mind though the following from the FAQ,
"Producers are members of the Galt's Gulch community who have read Atlas Shrugged, are advocates of Ayn Rand's ideas, and understand that there is no free lunch."

    If this describes you, welcome.
