Actually Trump has done wonders for politics up to now. Now I think it's time for him to go away, he's starting to get on my nerves. In reality I'm finding him a lot like Obama. He's arrogant, he'll always want his way, not necessarily what the people want, and he'll do whatever he needs to do to get his way. It would all be about Trump, whatever he decides, not necessarily the wishes of the people. They are both very thin skinned too. We can do much better, I hope and pray.
You pulled a "Trump" and addressed what I didn't ask...unless you are saying that Trump is respectable because he is openly a Crony.
Higher national debt is not a reason for no longer supporting a tax increase. That's absurd. Tax increases would (if you believe the Keyensian view) reduce the debt. But even if you don't, why would you want a wealth tax increase when our debt was (relatively) low?
I think his flip flopping demonstrates a lack of integrity in his political positions and indicates that he will take any position temporarily in order to win political favor.
The number of people critical of someone does not directly correspond to the accuracy of their views and ideas.
I give my reasons in the article I linked to above. My emotions, such as they are, are a result of studying Trump's messages and manner. They are the result of my reasoning in this case, not its cause.
Trump is riding on his celebrity status and hitting the hot buttons of the nativist and collectivist factions in the Republican Party.

It's not limited to politicians. Lawyers and Television commentators/anchors
Wow! a growth industry!
If Trump sues he will have to prove what they say is a lie. This will help him. If what they are saying is not a lie, it will hurt him. The media will have a field day reporting every moment and Trump will get even more exposure. again, Trump is crafty.
