and I think Trump is smart enough NOT to bring up Snowden during the time leading up to the election. Too many people are still politically correct now, and that would lead them to bringing Snowden back for trial.

You and I are both guessing about what Trump thinks on this issue. He will, of course, attack Obama for failing to lead regarding Snowden. That is virtually the only certainty.

Snowden was politically incorrect in exposing Obama's NSA. I would think Trump would respect that, especially since Snowden didnt sell out secrets- he only wanted the US citizens to stop the NSA spying on them.

Good plan. I am preparing to shrug already. Each new law thats passed gets us closer to 10-289. Our company already buys 80% of its components from china in order to keep employee levels here as low as possible and costs down. I am investing in automation more and more to get rid of the employees we have. Way to much hassle with government entitlement legislation to have employees here. As it is, we have only so called illegals because they arent spoiled yet and actually work. If they force us to go thru e-verify, I will have to really consider not doing any assembly here and laying off the illegals we have now.

I kind of think Trump, if asked about Snowden, would probably attack his physical appearance and then call him a traitor who will definitely be returned to the U.S. to face punishment after trump is elected because Putin will return him out of fear/respect for Trump. Just guessing, of course, since it impossible to know what Trump's principles are.

+1 for that. But you have to completely ignore Trump's history to believe that he is the guy. Yes it is still early and he could still prove himself but I can not and will not support him until he does. If he gets the nomination and becomes president without proving himself there is no reason for him to be that guy later. He gets no free pass.

All that said, I will vote for him. I will continue to call him out and his supporters if he doesn't prove himself. But if he is the nominee, and he hasn't proven himself, then this country deserves what it gets. Even if it is Bernie Sanders. The people of this country will deserve every bit of it. At that point I will only desire/need a few good years with an energy friendly administration to prepare for my own version of shrugging. At that point, the only thing that makes even the act of voting within my rational self interest will be my improved ability to prepare.

No matter what I think, or how I vote, I suspect our country will go socialist a little or a lot, the national debt will be repudiated through inflation, deficit spending wont stop, and the US dollar will drop drastically due to some sort of international crisis. In addition the government will pass more laws like directive 10-289. I plan to be into gold, and out of business by then, and financially independent.

So maybe Carly will jump ship if she doesnt get the nomination and turn democrat? So then it might be Carly vs Trump in the general election. Its more than a year off yet, so anything could happen.

And everyone says the same thing every time.Nothing changes. Question is what are you willing to do? Remember Sean Connery in the Chicago movie? What are you prepared to do?"

I'm betting that given Carlys over all over all the Dems will slip the word to support her. Remember the whole thing is street theater.,

    a. They are saddled with a loser in Hillary
    b. Kerry is a time bomb
    c. Sanders a no go.
    d. Biden a joke show but he does what he's told if their are no women around
They have to live down the disaster of Obeyme.
And their Reichs Fuhrer isn't looking for anyone to break the Demos plan.

Carly already stated she was a Democrat
Is a Socialist Corporatist in a party the Demos control. Basically has all the attributes of a left winger including RINO status.

And is female. They will play the 'its my turn card' but not the way Hillary envisioned. She'll end up one of the networks as a talking head sock puppet. Couple of book deals, another ten or twenty mill in the bank.

The mantra will be. We beat the left and good times are back. The left will then sit one even two out and find somebody else.

It's win win win all around for the Government Party.

To get Trump in would take a full blown revolution. To start with he's got two big holes one in each foot. So....the thing to do is.

Figure out how to exploit the weakness at the precinct levels. going after appointed offices, easy win precincts and building a real second party. For sure whoever gets this one and gives another eight years of same old same old will be ripe for plucking. There's the smell of political blood in the air and most of these smart people think the smell is someone else's.

Pretty upsetting what these politicians have done. When Enron, et al, does this kind of thing they all go to jail. I worked all my life and they are poised to take what I saved. If I buy gold, they will make me a criminal for hoarding it (but they will have to find it...).

I agree the dems will nominate Biden. I think Trump is the only one with enough support to get the repub nomination. If he doesnt get it outright, its going to be a mess between Bush and Carly. If its Biden vs Trump, Trump is going to be the next president.

Funny how they change the definitions even on Keynes. He ended his explanation with....it works until you haven't the money to pay the interest. What he forgot was or until you renege. Another word for repudiate. For me it's not a renege though. We loaned them that money they owe us premiums, or we call it a bad debt and bring in the collectors. They have zero or minus zero credit rating.but a lot of guns. Remember Mark Twain/Samuel Clements said Congress is a America's only true home grown criminal class. So why are we contemplating voting for practicing felons?

I recall he paid off about 30 billion or something like that. Turned out it was regular T Bill turn overs that cashed out. might have 35 billion. April of 2013 nothing since then or before then. Current increase is1.9billion more in debt each day.

We'll get another round of war, phony crisis, inflation, devaluation and debt repudiation. This time it will take $50 current dollars to equal one 1900 dollar in buying power IF we're lucky. VotingDemocrat will be a for sure on that.l Voting republican is like a 1" speed bump

The estimated population of the United States is 321,446,795
so each citizen's share of this debt is $56,474.01.

That's off because I repudiated my share.

If Trump's elected the first thing he will do is have a huge neon sign put on the WH lawn. It will say TRUMP'S HOUSE.

Its still early in the game though. We need a real administrator to run the government who wont put up with nonsense when presented to him.

Rand Paul would be my number one, but I dont think he has the charisma, at least at this point, to get on the ballot. Carson was right about another muslim president, but I wonder if his reason was just to support HIS religion !! Rand Paul is not 100% Objectivist either, but I have to say that in this climate a real Objectivist wouldnt get very far at all.

Trump is less evasive than the other candidates? I'm going to have to not even go there.

If there was any real indication that he is who he says he is I'd be right there with you. I want him to be. The way business is right now, I need him to be. I would vote for him in a heartbeat. But there is none. He is not. That is depressing.

Thanks conscious, I saw the points drop a while ago but I had already done my upvoting.

These guys remind me of the Paul-bots a few years ago. Vile. Don't question their hero. Sad to say, I think my opinion of Ron Paul was actually negatively affected by the actions of his supporters. These guys aren't that bad yet but it's still early.

But why? Why do you believe him? Why do you believe he might pardon Snowden. Do you really believe he is going to tell us about the emperors clothes when he is the emperor?

What are the others doing? Huckabee is plenty honest, I just can't vote for somebody who is on a mission from god. Cruz is just about the same now. Carson? At least he wouldn't support a muslim. But plenty honest. Rubio? He's had to compromise a few times but I think he's honest enough. Fiorina? Dumb broad would support a muslim over someone of no faith. Where the hell did that come from?

Then there's Rand Paul. Not perfect but a helluva lot better than Trump. At least he's for real.

Has he indicated even the slightest sympathy for Snowden or is this just wishful thinking on your part? For someone with actual positions you might like on taxation and the NSA check out Rand Paul's website. or better yet, Gary Johnson.

    Term2,

A cronyistic person, like Trump, doesn't have any credibility fighting against cronyism. It's like Hillary leading a crusade for transparency in government.
