No. I feel like I have to worry about terrorists and the government. Wonder which one will get to me first?
(Answer for Homeland Security to read.) YES. I feel much safer. The leader is doing a wonderful job.

It has been so long since Real ID was established that I had forgotten about it and thought it was already fully enacted. The arguments about immigration we have had in this forum are mere child's play compared to Real ID. That is most definitely an abridgement of everyone's rights.

The way that outfit is doing it's stated job begs the question what is their real job. Diss-ing the citizens for sure. Well of course. DISS Department of Internal State Security. Got to be some reason to justify all the money being spent. Do you feel safer? Really? Do you?

I'm reminded of the embedded chip uproar. To prove there is a dumbed down population one only has to point to cell phones. A constant locator beacon soon to come with permanent non removable batteries and solar screens.

The REAL ID can carry everything. Your entire life history and voting record. DNA Blood type fingerprints you name it but it isn't the first national ID card.

That was an innocent looking bit of heavy paper most have in their wallet. SSAN or as it's known in the military the military ID or as it's known in knowledgeable circles my real name.

You may think your name is Fredererick T. Gremlin III but that's your street name. your real name is a series of numbers xxx-xx-xxxx

The time for crying is over. As Khalling said they came in through the bathroom window and like the removal of the bill of rights got voted back into office again.

Which reminds me I finally looked up neo-cons.

They were the infiltrators from the Democrat Party that recruited more adherents and became known as RINOS. Another name for left wing socialist fascists. They came in through another point of access in the same bathroom.

With the approval and acceptance of the majority of the voting public in multiple elections.

    Including the next one.

The offer is still open 95% will vote Government Party in the next election.

Philosophical fire side coffee klatch discussions are nice and serve a purpose. But how many end in a suggested solution that makes real change and how many leave you hanging...

This is one area where I do blame Bush. I knew when he announced the formation of Homeland Security that things like this would be the result. It may not be a National ID card now but it seems like an easy conversion.

Every time I run into it, I get angrier. Several states passed laws against it only to discover a few years down the road that their DPS was secretly cooperating and implementing, including forwarding databases and biometric photos to DHS

"through a period of phased enforcement over the next several years. In particular, the date for implementing the prohibition on boarding aircraft travel will be set after an evaluation of earlier phases and will not occur sooner than 2016."

through a period of phased enforcement. that will show the illegals!
