    @KH my issue is economic. I agree on free travel. Just damn tired of paying taxes that then get given to people for no good reason when they should be working.

    I would be inclined to agree with immigration agreements between sovereign countries that allow open travel, kh, similar to free trade agreements.

    My problem with this has always been economic because of the welfare state. Face it, go back far enough and ALL of us are immigrants somewhere. My ancestors got to America extremely early, prior to that though all over europe

    The Ellis Island Immigrant Hospital is the United States’ first public health hospital, opened in 1902 and operating as a hospital until 1930. The hospital served as a detention facility for new immigrants who were deemed unfit to enter the United States after their arrival
