except The Monkeys. This pic is for OA who understands I was traumatized by seeing Planet of the Apes at a tender age in a drive in movie theater. I have never felt the same about apes since. Then horrified anew in Gorillas in the Mist, but Sigourney Weaver does not shy from horror. This is my daughter Kira on Halloween in Hollywood

    actually, around this time I had the biggest crush on Bobby Vinton. I think they were trying to sell an oldies album on TBS (cable had just started in our town) and this song pulled me in. I think my mom finally said- k, honey, you know this song is from the early 60's and Bobby Vinton is probably married with a daughter your age? I was probably ripe for polygamy plucking, that's how in love I was. lol
