actually no educated people in the middle ages thought the world was flat. the 2nd most read book available in colleges then was an encyclopedia that plainly described the world as shaped like a ball.

Personality (impression management) is far and away more important than honesty, substance and reality to the millennials.
Since morality and reality are the same thing, the lack of reality-based politics and policies coming out of DC will ultimately lead to the downfall of this country.
Any candidate who sticks with reality and explains what has gone wrong, what will go wrong if we follow the same path...and then lays out the solution to our problems might gain traction with the electorate.

one thing, is the division of labor concept. I can be an expert on just so much. I rely on physicists to follow the scientific method. Yet, there is Neil DeGrasse Tyler out there telling us the scientists have spoken on man made global warming. so how do we "get" it all?

the Greks figured out the world was not flat and even got the circumference. then somehow the church hid that stuff but Galileo still figured it out again.
