Utah mother upset with PacSun T-shirt display buys every last provocative shirt

Someone should tell this woman that using her bank account to impose a sort of quasi-censorship on the store will only cause that particular shirt to be restocked in greater quantities later on. After all, when the people who who manage the store's supply see how well that shirt is "selling," they'll probably just think it's really popular and order more. Not a very bright idea...

No, that's the worst part. Purchasing any product with the express intent to return it later for a refund is fraudulent. And if she does return them then she isn't putting her money where her mouth is, she's putting the store's money where mouth is. That's theft. If she returns them then she has deprived the store of its RIGHT to try to sell its merchandise to willing customers. Clothing is a perishable item in that it is seasonal. After 90 days the shirts may have lost nearly all of their value because they are out of season.

Stores have return policies to enhance customer satisfaction. Any store that allows returns of non-defective items does so because it values you as a long-term customer more than it values the profit from that one sale.

The store manager would be well within his rights to refuse the return and I hope he exercises that right.

Sort of. At the end of the video she says she plans on returning the shirts and getting her money back.
