Eudaimonia's Thought of The Day 05/07/13: (The passing of "the beard".)
Any good marriage involves compromise.
Yesterday my wife informed me of two concerns she's had for a while, but did not want to voice.
1) My "protest beard" is making me look like a "redneck".
2) I am smoking too many cigars.
So, in the spirit of compromise, and with the goal of a more harmonious marriage, the protest beard is no more.
However, The Perdomo Champagne Noir is a pretty darned good affordable stick.

So in that spirit, I keep my facial hair limited to a mustache and goatee... my cigars to special occasions... I find special occasions are not that hard to invent...:)
