Executive Tyranny

This is a continued theme, but I would like some ideas on who would truly be a good leader? We all keep talking replacement, but I am curious as to who would truly do the best job. Constitutionally. Not based on personal ideology or a deal breaker item of contention (i.e. the troops must come home now and never go out again. Or, eliminate the fed or I can't vote for you) No one person can fit every need, so who would be best? Then, ask yourself, who would be best and be electable?

I am serious. Who the heck is out there that we can truly trust to not bastardize the Constitution at whim? It has been going on for decades, just now it is at a more rapid pace than ever. Politics really suck, but we have to consider electability.

I can't tell if your post is tongue-in-cheek. Are you saying we should give up on limiting executive overreach and just find candidate that we can all accept having excessive powers?

My choice would be President Obama. Even if more than half the country agreed with me, I still wouldn't want the president to rule by executive decree.
