Yeah, I have been looking forward to this for years. The path of totality will cross right over my home town. A truly once in a lifetime event.

But if my past experience with rare astronomical phenomena is any guide, I expect the weather to be overcast for 500 miles in every direction that day. :)

Who knows, I might get lucky this time.

2017? That doesn't give the Looters much time to figure out how to tax this spectacular event. I'm sure that they'll rise to the occasion though!
