The worst thing that could happen is the Democrats field some unknown who really is competent....of course that would mean they would have to reach across the ranks of the Government Party to the right for someone like Jindal. Left wing right wing it's all the left. Rephrase. reach across the ranks of....for someone.....and past their Republican allies....for someone like...Jack Bauer?

Nope... I still say there's something else going on that we may not even know about until or after the next Presidential Inauguration....

And that, like Hillary, is scary to me.

ah, stupidity and ego, for starters?
only an insecure moron would think that's going to be effective, productive or popular...
    Jeez....

Great, she can waste her time and money campaigning to people that are already committed to vote for her. How arrogant is that, what does she gain by that? If I was campaigning I'd be out there trying to convince people that are not planning to vote me. This is just another example of her pure stupidity. She doesn't want any confrontation or to be asked any questions of any substance.

I'm almost hoping that she will be the "D" ticket, but I still think she will not make it. She'd quit if she was smart, but then again she's not listening to the messages. It just may take a trial and a prison term to get her to actually drop out.

    Good Grief!
I wouldn't want to attend anything that badly. If I did, however, I'd sign in as Harvey Wallbanger.

In the dark days of the fifties a Senator from Wisconsin had much the same attitude - loyalty oaths and all. (McCarthy). A few decades earlier the same was demanded of citizens of Germany and Russia.

I fail to see where such a patently fascist oriented move squares with any freedoms especially secret ballot.

What else would one expect from one of the Comrades of the Government Party

Because we didnt know what he did in secret. He was successful in hiding his secret behavior. Hillary hasnt had that luck (or cunning). Plus she defends what she did in spite of obvious wrongdoing- just like Nixon did. I think in the quiet of the voting booth, people will just not trust her

I have no doubt this was a deluded attempt by Hillary's handlers to keep hecklers from attending. Phony crowds, cream puff questions from a sycophantic media, the fifth "reintroduction" of the candidate, unsupportable promises requiring explosive growth in government spending . . . I do hope there are enough intelligent Americans out there that can keep this nightmare from coming true.

Because her campaign is DEAD, DEAD, DEAD in the water. No one trusts her. She is a reincarnation of Nixon.

If one of my preferred candidates pulled that stunt, she or he would lose my vote in a heartbeat.

I am not surprised. Hillary is there for Hillary ONLY. Citizens be damned- they just arent important after they vote for her. We dont need another self serving Nixon who hides what he does and hopes he can "erase" it before it gets out. He had WATERGATE while he was president. With Hillary at least we get to see DELETE GATE before she would be president and NOT vote for her.

That would be nothing compared with the guilt of someone who actually planned to vote FOR her!

Maybe the whole point was to insert guilt into the mind of the person who signed but didn't plan to vote for her.

I would imagine that the signed commitment slip would have the legal standing of a ten year old dry cleaning claim ticket, particularly if I was to sign it, "Johnpe". ;-)

Now close your eyes and imagine the media uproar (faux outrage, sarcasm) if Donald Trump had attempted to do the same thing.

As the crowds shuffle into one of Hillary's Campaign events a gentlemen wearing and trench coat and Fedora reaches her staff collecting the pledges. He hands it over and continues into the crowd, the staff member has a strange feeling and turns to watch the man but he is gone. The staff member looks down at the pledge and reads I, Who is John Galt, commit to vote for Hillary Clinton.

As Hillary begins her speach, the TV cameras begin to focus in on her, they suddenly stop working and all speakers cease to omit sound. Then the crowd hears "Get the hell out of the way".

Hahahaha Thats where my mind went as I read the article.
