I like Cuban, and I think he gets trump much more thoroughly than the political pundits.

    Agreed!

I am done apologizing to the world...for stabilizing it and improving everyone's standard of living.

Agreed. And Trump inherited much of his money - he didn't become a billionaire from scratch. If you ask the opinion of any of those he took to the cleaners in those four bankruptcies, I think you'll see a very different opinion.

If you want another blowhard-in-chief, Donald is your man. We don't need another petulant whiner, however. We've already had eight years of that.

I do not think for one minute the other candidates are afraid of Trumps "killer" capabilities. I think they do not want to wrestle with a pig. They are waiting for the pig to make a house of cards and implode. I would be willing to argue with this clown...four bankruptcies, and he is a financial hero? Seems more like a risky gambler taking advantage of this backstop. Does this backstop exist for the US? Economically, politically, militarily? I wouldn't vote for Bill Gates or Steve Jobs either, and they are enormously more successful and contributing than Donald Trumpateer.

Be careful with Genghis Khan. He was a killer, but so were all the other leaders in his time. He was also the first leader to offer complete religious tolerance, and he did not simply support the nobility, like Arab and western rulers. He would allow the leaders to continue, but if they opposed him, he would kill them after he won, and put in new leaders. He always gained the support of the populace before attempting to conquer a fortress, which couldn't have been difficult back then. People associate brutality with Khan, but he was a great leader ahead of his time as well as a killer.

Still spells BIG GOVERNMENT will take care of it.
Question: 1. is he a 'principled' man, will he risk his fortune, his honor, [does he have honor] and his very life for liberty?

    2. Does he know and revere the constitution as intended? Will he work with those in congress that Are question 1?

    3. What about our debt? will he stop spending beyond our means, will he disable the fed and not get shot like Kennedy?

Have not heard, from anything he has said, that would give me an incite into this man. All I get, is he would make our country a Great Company!.

    Is this what we want?

    Well, I don't care for Trump.(Though I would still
vote for him over one of those Democrats). But,
from what I understand, he is not a free-enterprise
man, and has even used eminent domain to get
others' property. I don't think he really has much
respect for individual rights. Yes, people are mad, and yes, he has provided an outlet for their
emotion. But is EMOTION really a proper stand-
ard by which to choose the Head of State of the
United States, and the Commander-in-Chief of
    its armed forces?
No, when a primary comes, I am not going
to vote for this blowhard who seems to me to
be a cross between P.T.Barnum and Ross Per-
ot. --(At least we HAVE primaries in Virginia
now. I used to feel disenfranchised, when
I'd hear about them in other states on the
news, and we Virginians couldn't vote in them).

That ticket would be a refreshing change from the "we are the world" in-a-gadda-da-vida crew. Nothing is perfect, everything has it's drawbacks. I would prefer the WYSIWYG drawbacks of a corporate Cuban and Trump (ex.:makes no bones about donation/favor relationships) combo. The constant irony of Obama's htraE admin is exhausting.

I would like to see a Trump/Cuban ticket. Its time we the people get politicians who tell it like it really is for a change.

Cuban's got Trump down. However, his brag about toying with him is just bloated ego. Trump's immigration stance for example, is said to be impossible. I cannot tell you how many times in my lifetime I have heard the phrase, "he accomplished the impossible." The universe doesn't accept "I can't." That's the way Trump sees things, and so do most of us.

A Cuban and Trump combo might be a formidable threat to Washington, D.C.'s business-as-usual approach to problem solving.

I have often noted that when the rest of the world is moving at the speed of light, Washington, D.C. is still using the Pony Express.

I'm not familiar with him in that regard. Most of what I know about him is as the outspoken owner of the Dallas Mavericks. Can you give some examples? I appreciate the context and background!

If only more of our 'leaders' weren't so into
being Politically Correct! I still can't get over
McCain when he was running for president in
'08 telling his press people NOT to use Barack's middle name!! OMG!!

I disagree. Genghis Khan was also a "killer." Cuban has been willing to work to destroy property rights that are personally convenient for his enterprises as a "killer." nothing rational about that

Thanks for the link. I agree that this is an analysis by a successful (and rationa)l business leader. As such is different from anything else I have read about Donald Trump's candidacy.

Being a techie by profession with an MBA, I'd love to see more of the technology argument Cuban makes. Tech was what launched Wal-Mart to the top and Cuban obviously understands how important it is. I'd like to know more about "The Donald's" use of tech.
