Ehat about the threat by VW to close the plant if the union wasn't elected? Isn't that coercive? Isn't thant unfair labor practice in favor of the union? Yes the margin was slim, about the same as put Al Franken in the Senators seat from Wisconsin.

Either recount the whole state, or get over it. Bush won, already.
OR, the people voted, no UAW is the law of the land. If you don't like it, get more of your people elected.

mminnick - I cringe to respond to your post. I now live in Wisconsin, so I am saddened that you would say that Franken is from here (we did our own stupidity with Baldwin). But since I grew up in Minnesota, I also cringe that they are so stupid that they did elect him.

I'm impressed by how Baldwin remembers me and everyone else despite meeting countless supporters. She also seems really sharp when you hit her with questions about bills, even if they're outside the talking points.

I always get a very positive vibe (okay, she's a politician; that's her job) talking to her. I certainly don't think there's something stupid about her. She really comes off as sharp, never tired or phoning it in.
