The men are on guard until the center closes for the day. They’re roaming around in the parking lot and securing the area.
Orlando Perez brought his long arm with him.
“I’m here to protect our military because they’re not allowed to protect themselves,” Perez said.
Perez said there are no plans to stop protecting the area soon.
“Until they are allowed to carry, I will be out here to help them understand that somebody is watching them,” Perez said.
Orlando Perez is not a veteran. He wasn’t born in the United States either. He came here with his family when he was a child.
Perez said his American dream is quickly turning into a nightmare.
“I came here because of the freedom this country offered for people,” Perez said. “I never imagined that we would be in this type of a situation, in this type of scenario.”

This man and his compartriots clearly recognize that those who have chosen to defend freedom are now unable to protect themselves and they're making a stand. I wish more of our citizens understood this...we'd certainly have fewer problems.| Permalink
