My favorite .223. I guestimate I put over 8000 rounds through the M-16 (yes, M-16) and never really cared for it. Too finicky for me...a little beyond 150 rounds & things started to jam up... That's my experience, but I don't believe it will be the same for many others.

The mini, especially the new & improved mini with the heavy barrel is a blast. Yes, there are some drawbacks to it, we won't discuss the PITA when it comes to breaking down for a cleaning. But hey, it won't jam even after over 500 rounds through it and in dusty conditions. Enjoy.

    Ugly spud. I don't like rifles with pistol grips, both for aesthetics and for comfort.

    Very nice, although I have always preferred the Mini-14 and 30 in wood stocks. In black it just looks like it is pretending to be an AR.

    I feel you on the old M16. My M16A2 was worthless, and it was brand new. I think the newer M4 style feedramps fixed a lot of those issues though.
