Are your Tires worse than your cell phone for your health?

I was shopping for tires online and remembered years ago they had started to make tires out of Kevlar because they were much lighter (fuel efficient) much stronger (Kevlar is at least 10 times stronger than steel) and a lot more resistant to separation (the rubber adheres to Kevlar much better than steel). I eventually create an added cost of less than a dollar to use Kevlar, which is why they don't use it. The tires that used to be non-steel Kevlar belted: had a wider temperature range, had better traction, lasted longer, and didn't separate (SAFER).

But more to the point, in this test it registered 1mV (that would flow through your brain) of current flow at 30 MPH in the back seat of the car they were testing. There is a lot of testing that proves that is bad for us in many ways, and a internet search shows several alike studies to this including some instigated by our friendly leaders in DC. So with all of the regulations coming out of DC why aren't steel belted tires banned?

    Hello Ibecame,
Very interesting. I would happily pay the extra dollar per tire. The performance benefits are worth it regardless of potential health issues.
    Respectfully,
    O.A.
