But of course, he is a socialist.

My favorite Sanders nonsense was a part he wrote for the WSJ about the US Post Office being affordable and not bankrupt. He manipulated the numbers and showed that it wasn't a problem as long as the government paid the ridiculous postal worker, 20 and out, full retirement costs down. He also argued that UPS and Fed Ex should not be allowed to compete with basic letter carrying.

The only thing I like about him is that he actually admits to being a socialist.

Many problems with Bernie Sanders are outlined here. His main problem is with reality.

Imagine any human activity unregulated. Government is the ultimate busybody.

Bernie Sanders claims to be a socialist. Of course, he has a problem with anything outside the direct control of government. No surprise here. Its expected that socialists will object to "unregulated" private enterprise.

Bernie Sanders has serious problems with any business because it is a private business. To a Bernie Sanders, any economic activity that takes place outside the province of the government--that is, one that is not a government service--constitutes outsourcing of essential human services to unelected, unaccountable providers and is therefore a violation of the social contract.

Of course, that doesn't apply to the movies. But again, to a Bernie Sanders, the only movies worth seeing are socialist propaganda movies.

I wonder if this is his opinion, something he thinks has broad support, or if he's taking money from existing taxi services in some form.

Well of course he does. If you listen to him he wants everything and everyone to be regulated.

Yep. And at the end of it all, we and they too, die ~ all the power and control for what? Absolutely nothing. They lose it anyway. What a waste of time.

I wish there was some way we could turn his ignorance into a power source: we'd have enough power to run the US for at least 100 years.

You see what Bernie wants? Power and control. Especially over the profits.
