Of course when he speaks he equates himself to the common man, when in reality nothing could be further from the truth. Common men are the last ones he would want to be around.

Well, we all have illusions of one sort or another. The less information you have the larger the illusions that survive. Which likely explains the level of angst with a lot of us.

We are rational and observe the world around us, illusions have a tough time.
