I'm curious, what is with the Bitcoin? I don't think I'm going to jump on that band wagon any time soon... Galts Gulch approved or not, I am not feeling very good about it.

I have the pamphlet somewhere that shows the likelihood of having a bad reaction. I want to say it's like 20% but I don't have it handy..I searched the internet about it after I could finally get out of bed. Three days in bed with several joint pain, I could barely move and wished for death.. and like I said.. It doesn't like women whether your pregnant or not. (The pamphlet mentions not getting the pertussis one if you're pregnant so they know the stats on that...ugh). PM me if you want to talk more. I'm interested in what your wife went through. I can't believe the Dr. didn't know of this!

My wife recently had a bad reaction to a tetanus shot. Went to emg room and the doc was dismissive. said reaction wasn't related to shot but did mention tetanus shots are a mix for several different things. we never knew that and now I'm distrustful

Oh, is an Alt-coin based in what is called scrypt algorithm (bitcoin algorithm is SHA256), there are many altocoins and places where they are traded with bitcoins like Cryptsy.com, their strength depends on how many coins will be in total, and the promotion and usage of it. There is Dogecoin, started like a joke/meme of a shiba dog, but their community started promoting donations with the coin to dog shelters, and then it acquired a lot of value.

But I think mentioning what is happening here in Venezuela, made it take a strange, although interesting turn XD.

So I decided to make a post about what is happening in Venezuela. Tomorrow will be in these concentrations, specifically the one in Chacaito (Caracas); I have a friend near there in any situation. Can’t know if much people will go, the fear to this armed gangs on motorbikes, specially the most organized and with influences and contacts with the actual government called “Colectivos"... Is a fight between hunger, desperation, poverty, violence, and fear.

Most of my friends are long gone from Venezuela, one is going to Spain in this days. So I really don't know what to expect :/.

apparently, when they make the cocktail it is based on old virus. by the time it is concocted and sent out-it's obsolete. new virus is in town. also, some can get sick on the shot. anyway-do what makes you feel safe-jus sayin a doc says it's not helpin you

Wow, that's not good. I'm glad we have that in our constitution. Unfortunately that right gets attacked, and from within. What you are experiencing there is what we fight against up here. The citizens mostly know that an unarmed civilian population is just unchained serfs.

If I live forever, I will be working on getting people to stop using Duct Tape and start using gaff tape [theatre electrician's tape]. It comes in different widths, it's fabric so that it tears easily, IT DOESN'T LEAVE RESIDUE BEHIND, it will stick to itself and then be separated easily. It is paintable, and I have successfully used it to tape a broken wrist as a rally. You can use it to repair clothing, leather items, plastics - I think it may hold the universe together. It is only available at theatrical supply stores, but you can usually get it by mail.
HOWEVER your essential point is right on. Get good strong tape. More than you think you'll need.

Tetanus yes, but not the shot brewed with the pertussis vaccine. That thing almost killed me...and it causes miscarriages. It does not like females.

Seriously though, be sure not to over pack the bag. Especially if you believe you'll be wearing the thing on extended hikes. Ideally, backpack weight shouldn't exceed 15% of a person's weight.

why has no one mentioned duct tape?

We also have a pack that is emergency medical specific. Only first aid supplies, incl iodine, water purification, bandages etc.

Bout Ocumare del Tuy, the gang has retired... after assaulting the police station though .-. . I think it was a demonstration of power, 3 days on a city, no police, neither army (called national guard: part of the army that is for internal affairs) could stop them. No one was captured... so I think is the gang saying, we own this place and nobody can do a thing.

Thanks, I have something like that... although no firearms, their are illegal for a civilian.. (Unless you are a gang member, or a robber, illegal guns can be found everywhere).
