I was thinking the same, about half the people in this gimme-country we've turned into have a check coming to them every month. I'm sure he would get a majority of their vote.

I caught that phrasing as well. In other words, he wasn't successful in seizing all the guns from lawful gun owners, so with at least 150 million armed Americans, he's not willing to chance it.

I remember when the emperor said he is not an emperor.
Thus, his being just the president was "problematic."

    I have other memories.
When young Old Dino had numerous snake encounters in south Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.

What struck me was his wording. He didn't say "If I was allowed to run for a 3rd term, I could win".

No, he said "If I ran, I could win", as if he was considering it, and had simply decided not to.

There really is no limit to this guy's arrogance.

Q: Is there a move to make Obama eligible for more than two terms as president?

A: A bill that proposes repealing the 22nd Amendment has been introduced, but so far it has very little support.

    FULL QUESTION

Is there any truth in Obama wanting to repeal the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution so he can be president for life? I am seeing many sites referring to him as King Obama and that he wants to be president for life.

    FULL ANSWER

It’s true that New York Rep. Jose Serrano, a Democrat, introduced a bill (H.J.RES.5) on Jan. 6, when Congress opened, proposing the repeal of the 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which limits presidents to two terms. Repealing that amendment would require ratification by three-fourths of the states.

Imagine if this got stuck into the Iran Deal, or stuffed into the Highway Bill in exchange for de-fundingPlanned Parenthood.

His arrogance is never-ending and so is his
    'consideration' (frightening yes, surprising
    no) re: a third term.

Can he ever stop talking about himself? It is possible he could win again. If you count all the moochers and illegals he is close to 50% of the vote already.

What should be frightening is this man even considering a third term - unConstitutional or not! The fact that he's coming out and saying it publicly combined with his outright disdain for the Constitution tells me that he may just try to ignore the Constitution entirely.

He may also be doing it because his Party's "shoo-in" candidate is anything but.

I suppose that we can expect an executive order directing all hands to acknowledge that he's been a "pretty good" president.

    Bah!
