Perhaps we can validate this test by having the President take it.

I drew an extroverted/liar Q...and I am the most introverted person I know. I am also a terrible liar (inconvenient, that).

I drew it for the viewer, not for me. I immediately thought I should draw so someone else can see it correctly, not me, because without looking in a mirror I can't see my own forehead. One could argue that someone who puts the tail on the left is merely being considerate of others and not a liar. :P

or just more extroverted. this was BS. but I did do the cursive q which probably says more about me than his silly baseless test

It does raise a good point because people that are overly concerned about winning the approval of others will inevitably lie either by action or omission. I agree that it has no connection with drawing a letter.

I agree with you. I think lying is stupid, because you have to keep track of details or someone will catch you in a lie. I consiously thought about writing it so others could see it. I think that simply makes me more considerate of others. If I was selfconsious about other people see me, would I put a q on my forehead in the first place.

There's no point to it. We know Obama has lied to folks when he volubly said many times that Obamacare would not prevent anyone from seeing the physicians of their choice.

I am not an Obama fan by any stretch of the imagination; however, I'm going to have to call you out here and split some thick hairs. Obama NEVER said anything about ACA preventing physician of choice. Please refer to the correct lie...he said if you "like your health plan you can keep it."

Hmm...I thought that our own Beloved Obama also referred to being able to keep your own physician. On the other hand, I'm quite sure you're correct about his saying if you "like your health plan you can keep it." Grazzi:)

He also said if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.

....and what is preventing one from keeping their doctor? Did the doctor suddenly stop taking insurance?

The list of doctors who accept the ACA-approved insurance plans is distinctly smaller than those who accepted the old plans. Your doctor will still take your business, for cash, or an insurance plan not on the ACA list. Those who lost their old plans are now discovering that their premiums are higher, their deductibles are higher, and their doctor may not be on the list of those accepting any but the most expensive plans.

If you look at the comments to the video on YouTube, the one by Jessica Crawford sums this up pretty well.

So someone has voted down my reference to an honest (although not a very puritan) assessment of this pseudo-science. Sure, body language is very important and speaks volumes about a person's character and behavior, but it is a science no less complicated than any other science. I have taken an intensive week-long course on the subject and have barely scratched the surface. Condensing it into a 5 second test is so ridiculous that it could only be answered by a joke; and the one that I referenced sums it up appropriately.

I didn't voted you down, but I can't find Jessica Crawford. Would you paste it ?

I don't see it as a science because you cannot control the variables. It does offer some information about human behavior that at times will be wrong.

It seems that a bunch of comments were added and I can't find it now. Sorry. No big loss, it was somewhat vulgar, but funny and appropriate for the circumstance.

This is a serious science and making a SNL 5 Minute University (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kO8x8eoU3...) out of it is a shame. Here's an example of how such unprofessionalism can back fire. In the 1950's or '60's an American psychologist designed an interesting test for psychopaths. Apparently, it was tested among jail inmates:

At a funeral of her mother, a woman meets a man that is exactly what she wanted all her life. She instantly falls in love with him. However, she does not get his name, phone #, or any other info. A week later the woman kills her sister. Explain why.

Please attempt to answer the question before looking below for the answer.

          .

          .

Answer: Since the man was obviously a friend of the family, there is a good chance that he'll show up for the sister's funeral. According to the design of the test, a proper answer can only be given by a psychopath or a person with those tendencies.

Now, here's the caveat: I have given this test to a number of US born people and only one person, a scientist and very analytical, came up with an almost correct answer. I don't think that he's a psychopath. However, every person that I've given this test to that was born in Russia or Vietnam (just my sample; try it on others), instantly answered it correctly. I don't think that they're all psychopaths, either.

Sorry, but this test doesn't cut it! I drew the Q so that someone facing me would see it properly and I am NOT an extrovert. On the contrary, I've been introverted my entire life. As for being a good liar, I can't say. I don't lie well "on the spot."

    It's an interesting test.

I assume that it can be done with any letter that doesn't have bilateral symmetry, e.g., P, R, K, L, etc., and not just Q.

And in that case, wouldn't the easiest letter to draw be a "C"?
